Preparing for Digital Product Passports with LCA’s

Watch this on-demand webinar at any time

In July 2024 the Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) entered into force. With the new rules, Digital Product Passports (DPPs) will soon be mandatory for a large number of products placed on the EU market. But what exactly are DPP’s, and why do they matter? How should companies prepare for DPP’s? And what makes LCAs a good starting point?

DPPs will act like digital ID cards for products, holding key data on everything from materials used to environmental impact, making it easier for customers to be informed about the environmental impact of the products they purchase. For many businesses though, the implementation of DPPs will create a big operational challenge – especially for those who don’t already collect the required environmental and sustainability data.

Join our experts Matthew Ekholm (from Digital Product Passports Provider Protokol), and environmental Life Cycle Assessment expert Alexandra Florea, as they break down how Life Cycle Assessments can help you get ready for the implementation of DPPs.

This webinar will give a clear overview of what is known today about DPPs and how to start preparing for them already. Discover how LCAs and DPPs work together, and learn how to use LCA data as your starting point for compliance and gaining a competitive edge in sustainable product management.

Don’t miss out — start preparing your business for Digital Product Passport compliance!
