Indeed Innovation: Scaling LCA Knowledge Across Teams for Stronger Circular Design
Company
INDEED Innovation is a global design and innovation firm dedicated to the Circular Economy. They help businesses create sustainable products and services by eliminating waste, regenerating resources, and closing the lifecycle loop.
Challenges
Indeed Innovation already had LCA expertise within their organization. However, with sustainability playing a key role in their services, they recognized the need to ensure that everyone—not just their LCA specialists—had a foundational understanding of Life Cycle Assessment. By creating a shared knowledge base, their team could work more effectively with clients, integrate LCA into projects more seamlessly, and strengthen their position as sustainability leaders.
Why us?
Before rolling out the training internally, Indeed CEO Karel Golta took Leader’s LCA himself. He found the course uniquely suited to their needs—it provided practical, business-oriented insights into LCA while being structured enough to ensure team-wide consistency. What set our offering apart was the ability to deliver a customized group training, allowing Indeed’s team to learn together, engage in discussions, and complete the program within a defined timeframe. As an existing partner, Indeed also saw this as a valuable extension of our collaboration, reinforcing our shared commitment to high-quality LCA education.
Solution
To efficiently scale LCA knowledge across their team, Indeed opted for a customized group version of Leader’s LCA, tailored to 20 participants. The training included:
A live kickoff session to align the team and set expectations
Four weeks of structured, self-paced online learning
A closing live Q&A session with Environmental Impacts Academy’s CEO, Poul Lindqvist
This approach ensured that everyone gained the same foundational knowledge while allowing flexibility for individual learning.
Results
By completing the training, Indeed Innovation successfully created a common language around LCA within their team. Their internal experts could now collaborate more effectively with colleagues who, while not specialists, could understand and apply LCA principles in their work. This strengthened their ability to integrate sustainability into their design processes.
“The LCA online course was enjoyable and absolutely relevant in topic as well as just the right depth to digest and make it stick.”
